Travis Brine
Associate - Langley Offices
Travis Brine is an associate lawyer who joined LK Law’s Langley office in 2006. Travis principally practices general litigation with an emphasis on insurance litigation and personal injury claims. He has experience handling a wide variety of cases including motor vehicle accident claims from both a defence and plaintiff perspective, slip and fall claims, employment law, and libel and slander. Travis has also been involved in commercial and “leaky condo” litigation. He has appeared in the British Columbia Court of Appeal and Provincial and Supreme Courts. He also has extensive experience participating in mediations.
Travis attended Carleton University where he obtained a Bachelor of Journalism degree in 1998. He graduated from University of BC with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2002. He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2003.
Travis has contributed as a speaker and author for the Continuing Legal Education Society and recently was a guest speaker on the topic of defending motor vehicle accident claims in the provincial court. Outside of his practice, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and two children along with skiing, playing tennis and basketball. He recently participated on Lindsay Kenney’s team in the BC Lung Association’s Trek for Life, as well as a participant in the BC Cancer Foundation’s Ride to Conquer Cancer.
