Philip Jones

Associate Counsel - Vancouver Offices

Philip J. Jones joined LK Law in 2004 and is Associate Counsel in our Vancouver office. Philip’s practice extends to corporate and commercial matters involving international trade, franchise law, and estate and succession planning.

From 1967 to 1977 Mr. Jones practiced as a litigator focusing on commercial and contract disputes, construction and, to a lesser extent, family and criminal law. Philip sat as a Provincial Court Judge in 1977, for the most part in the criminal court and, briefly, in family court. Over the period from 1972 to 1977, he transitioned into his current solicitor’s practice.

Philip Jones served in the Canadian Army from 1956 to 1963, and in the Army Reserve from 1963 to 1969. His life beyond the law extends to a wide a range of interests including community organizations, and studying cultural anthropology, archeology and history. Phil also enjoys hiking, walking, cycling, lawn bowling, fly fishing, birding and travelling.
